The
Food Pantry is a joint Outreach Mission effort by the churches
in the Grantville area. The function of the pantry has
been to distribute food and household products to families with
demonstrated needs. The pantry has expanded its mission to
include preparing and serving one meal per month, at the Penn
National Racetrack, and clothing distribution. It is
housed at Faith U.C.C. Church located on
Route 743, between Routes 22 and 81.

Grantville Food Pantry’s
distribution was the following:
513 families were served;
1,078
people served; 693 bags of food given; 336 children served; and
742
adults served.
During these tough economic times, please consider those less fortunate by contributing
food items (place them in the narthex baskets) or a monetary donation (place in our
offertory plate, designating "Food Pantry" in the memo line of your check)? Thank
you for your continuing support.
The Grantville Area
Food Pantry is requesting monetary donations specifically designated for clothing and supplies to help children in need who visit our Food Pantry. Your support
of this outreach will be greatly appreciated.
“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of
these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”
Matthew 31:4
Let us not forget those less fortunate than us. Our local
food pantries usually run low on their food inventory during this period of time.
Please help us keep the Grantville Food Pantry supplied & place your donations in the beige bin located in the Narthex.
Thank
you.
"....whenever
you offer to the least of my brethren, you offer it to
me" Jesus

service we render for others is really the rent we pay for our
room on this earth." |
