We have a family of six that are in need of our assistance.  Presently, they are in need of toddler’s diapers (size 5), diaper wipes, laundry detergent, towels, wash clothes, paper products (paper towels, tissues, & napkins).  Place donated items in the narthex baskets.  They also could use furniture (dining/kitchen table and chairs, beds, sleeper/sofa).  If you can assist with furniture or have any questions, please see Connie T.

   The Service Ministry can never give enough “thanks” for the outstanding support you provide to requests to show our love to those in need throughout the year.

   In recent months, you have provided:

 

  • Cell Phones to be used by the YWCA in their Domestic Violence Intervention Program
  • Glossy prints and aluminum tabs for Ronald McDonald House, which in turn monetarily assists them in their charitable work.
  • Aluminum cans for Habitat for Humanity
  • Lunches for Habitat for Humanity volunteers
  • Doctor Days Lunches
  • Needed Items for the Grantville Area Food Pantry
  • Bandages for Church World Service
  • Blankets & Tools for Church World Service
  • Best Gift Tree Contributions for Church World Service
  • Noisy Offering for Bethesda Mission

Phone Cards for Our Service Men & Women

   We are collecting monetary donations to purchase phone cards for our service men and women.  If you have a friend or relative in mind, please advise Sheryl R. or call the Church Office.  There is a red bag with American flags on the piano in the Sanctuary for donations.  If you write a check, please place “Phone Cards” in the memo line.
