   Council has approved the unbudgeted expenditure to improve the upper level parking for more space for our physically-challenged members. We have access to matching funds from Thrivent^® for this project. Please reflect upon your gifts from God and contribute for this project, in addition to your regular giving. SHELLS PIPE ORGAN

Shells would like to thank all the members & friends that donated to the Organ Repair Fund. We would also like to thank Thrivent^® for matching $1,300 of the funds. We have received $8,506.00 total through November 2008. Since the organ repairs are expected to take place in January 2009, we will resume the drive at the end of the year.

   He who has received much should also give much. It is essential to give a goodly part of what God has allowed us to accumulate.  Otherwise, greed and miserliness will seize our hearts and minds.  Furthermore, by not giving generously, we will miss the many joys that generosity brings to us.

   Let us not cheat ourselves of those blessings.

"Lord, open our eyes to see our abundance and also to see the needs of your people and your church.  May we be good stewards of it all?  Amen"
