Help Us Care for God's Earth!

   We need your help!  The Stewardship Committee would like to expand on the green initiatives we already have at Shells.  We have programs such as recycling bulletins in the office, but we can do more!  What else can we do to help Shells ‘go green’ and care for our Lord’s earth?  Please contact Erica Hilbert with any thoughts or ideas!  Email or call me.

    “For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you....O Lord, our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a house for your holy name comes from your hand and is all your own.  I know, my God, that you search the heart, and take pleasure in uprightness; in the uprightness of my heart I have offered all these things, and now I have seen your people, who are present here, offering freely and joyously to you...” 1 Chronicles 29: 14-18

Stewardship Ministry thanks you.

   He who has received much should also give much. It is essential to give a goodly part of what God has allowed us to accumulate.  Otherwise, greed and miserliness will seize our hearts and minds.  Furthermore, by not giving generously, we will miss the many joys that generosity brings to us.

   Let us not cheat ourselves of those blessings.

"Lord, open our eyes to see our abundance and also to see the needs of your people and your church.  May we be good stewards of it all?  Amen"
